GETTING TO TENERIFE
The island of Tenerife is conveniently small! It has two main airports, Tenerife South and Tenerife North. Both are relatively near the wedding area. Most international flights will go to the larger airport, in the South.

- TFSouth – 1 Hour Drive to Hacienda el Terrero
Tenerife is an island of Spain, but happens to be out in the Atlantic Ocean – near North Western Africa! Here are some suggestions when looking at flight and travel options.
For those traveling from Switzerland we recommend flights with EasyJet from either Basel or Geneva, or direct flights with Edelweiss from Zürich.
For those traveling from Canada we recommend flights from Toronto or Montreal to an international and large airport in mainland Europe first (for ex: London, Paris, Lisbon, Munich, Madrid, Barcelona, etc.) and then flying to Tenerife (either South or North airport).
For those traveling from elsewhere in Spain or the EU, feel free to reach out to ask us about travel recommendations if you don’t find anything convenient.
🏎️Finally, those who are looking for adventure… There are overnight ferries from mainland Spain and Portugal which can accommodate you and your vehicle (whether that’s a wheelchair, car, bicycle, unicycle, clown car… and so on!).
SLEEPING IN THE RIFF'
Some of our guests (close family members and a handful of friends) have already been sorted with our limited accommodation at the main wedding venue itself.
For the others, do not despair! The nearby town of La Orotava is where we recommend all other guests to stay. It’s a wonderful picturesque town with plenty of accommodation, restaurants, sightseeing opportunities, and all. We do highly recommend staying in this town as this is where we will be organizing the shuttle services to and from the wedding venue.
We have put together wonderful nearby venue suggestions which have been organized specifically for our celebration. Those who are not staying at the venue itself will also have access to transportation back and forth on the wedding day.

Car Rentals
You can easily drive around the whole island of Tenerife in 3-4 hours! We recommend getting a rental car to maximize your freedom and to be able to explore all the wonderful beaches, forests, restaurants, and more that the island has to offer.

Taxis
Outside of both airports (TFS and TFN) you will find a number of taxis that will be able to take you to the towns near the wedding area. Prices are fair, and taxis are trustworthy on the island! They will accept cash and most credit cards.
Public Transport
TITSA is the island’s public transport (BUS) system. It is affordable and very easy to use! Timetables are regularly updated and also available via Google Maps. It is also very easy to travel between our main wedding venue (where both the Wedding Day and Pool Party are hosted) and La Orotava. The bus runs every 30 minutes, and is a 20 minute ride each way.
